(HORICON) People across Dodge and Fond du Lac counties will soon see some award-winning flavors hitting their local meat counters.
Leroy Meats says its team picked up several honors over the weekend at the 2026 Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors convention in Middleton. The annual event brings together meat processors from across the state to compete and showcase new products.
The company’s chicken snack stick took first place. Other top finishers included a chicken piccata entree and chorizo bratwurst, both earning third place, along with a fourth-place finish for its jelly loaf.
Several other Leroy Meats products also received honorable mentions, including its Buck N Bite snack stick, smoked Italian mozzarella sausage, tri tip stir fry entree, Philly cheese potato sausage and Cowboy Butter All-American burger.
Company leaders say customers can expect to see these award-winning items in stores as soon as next week at Leroy Meats locations in Horicon, Fox Lake and Ripon.
