Late Run Lifts Randolph Past Beaver Dam Boys

The Randolph boys basketball team outscored Beaver Dam 11-2 over the final three and a half minutes to pick up a 70-63 road victory on Tuesday night at the BDHS Fieldhouse.   Junior Travis Alvin dominated the paint on his way to game high 26 points.  Rockets senior Sam Grieger scored 13 of his 18 in the 2nd half including some big shots down the stretch.

Junior Ty Bunkoske led Beaver Dam with 22 points.  Senior Nate Abel scored 15.  During the game, Abel passed Garrett Nelson (2017) to become the schools single season scoring leader with 546 points. Nelson scored 534 during the 2015-16 campaign.

Beaver Dam (15-6) will host Reedsburg on Thursday night in a game you can watch on the DailyDodge.com videostream presented by Columbus Family Dental and the Beaver Dam Unified School District.  The JV tips at 5:45pm with the Varsity set for 7:15pm.

Randolph (18-3) wraps up their regular season on Thursday night when they host Pardeeville.
