(BEAVER DAM) Beaver Dam has a new Parks and Forestry Supervisor. He’s Joe Kern, who grew up in Beaver Dam, and has degrees from Fox Valley Technical College and UW-Platteville. He supervised 25 employees at McKay Nursery before joining the Parks and Forestry Department. The Common Council approved Kern’s hiring Monday night. He takes over for John Neumann, who’s retiring after 27 years with the city.
