Kathy L. McCormack, age 49, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Prairie Ridge Health in Columbus
A celebration will be held at Praise Assembly of God Church (119 W. Maple Ave.) in Beaver Dam in the fellowship hall on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Kathy Lynne was born on January 24, 1975 in Waterloo, Iowa to Bernard “Ben” and Jacqueline “Jackey” (Greene) Meighan. She was united in marriage with Thomas McCormack on March 15, 2002. She was the best at being a loving, selfless mother and friend. Her children meant everything to her and she always put their needs above all others. Kathy enjoyed the simple things in live and she loved taking motorcycle rides with Tom and going camping. She loved tending to her flower beds and watching things bloom, she found peace doing things outdoors. She was very compassionate about dogs, helping train and care for any animal in need. Kathy was always happiest if she was loving on a dog and getting wet kisses in return. Kathy has touched many people’s lives and will continue to live in our hearts forever. She will be forever missed by anyone who’s lives she’s touched.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Tom; her children, Kayla (David), Kail (Dana), and Teegen (Hannah); granddaughter, Maisie; parents, Ben and Jackey Meighan; sisters, Tina (Treg) Scharf, Angela Fedenko, and Shari Pollock; her loyal companions, Henny, June and Maisie in addition to her grand puppies Nellie and Xena. She’s also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her great niece & nephew, infant twins, Carson and Presley.
