Juneau Barn Sustains Minimal Damage From Weekend Fire

(Juneau) The Juneau Fire Department responded to a weekend barn fire. Crews responded at 12:38pm Saturday after receiving reports that flames were visible on the roof of the barn located on Sunset Road in the town of Oak Grove. Juneau arrived on scene within ten minutes and firefighters extinguished the flames with what Chief Curt Ninmann called a “quick knockdown” with minimal damage to the empty barn. Crews were on scene for one hour. Extra engines responded from Beaver Dam, Burnett and Hustisford RIT along with water tenders from Hustisford, Fox Lake, Beaver Dam, Kekoskee and Woodland. EMS Units from Juneau and Horicon responded for rehab of firefighters.
