Judith A. Deibert, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in Fond du Lac with her husband David W. Deibert, by her side. David passed away on September 28, 2025 in Madison due to health complications.
Judy was born on May 17, 1945, in Beaver Dam to Harold and Mable (Leverence) Weber. David was born on July 1, 1944 in Waupun to Elmer and Eleanora (Rehwinkle) Deibert. After they graduated high school, David enlisted in the United States Army and Judy found work at Kraft. They were united in marriage on October 25, 1969.They became proud parents of their sons, Scott and Todd.
David worked at John Deere Horicon Works until his retirement. He worked in many different departments and made lasting friendships there. He worked hard for his family and made every effort to give them the best life that he could. Judy took early childhood classes that led her to work at the high school, helping young teen mothers navigate their new roles. Her love for children was evident to all who knew her, and she continued to express this through her work in private daycare and the YMCA daycare, where she made a lasting impact on many young lives. They had an insatiable love for travel. They achieved the remarkable feat of visiting all 50 states, and traveled to Ireland to kiss the Blarney Stone. Their adventures brought stories and experiences that they shared with enthusiasm and bright smiles. We find comfort in knowing that they are together in their eternal life. Judy and Dave are survived by their son, Scott (Nicole) Deibert, of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; David’s siblings, Beverly Schultz of Waupun, Sharon (Jim) Evers of Beaver Dam, and Fred (Loretta) Deibert of Juneau; nieces, nephews, and friends, who will miss them dearly. Their home was never without the companionship of their dog, Cuddles, and their cat, Miss Whiskers. They, too, were part of their cherished family. Judy and Dave were preceded in death by parents; their son, Todd; Dave’s brothers, Kenneth and Keith; and a nephew.
