John Deere Hydro Power At Dodge County Fairgrounds

(Horicon) Collectors of John Deere equipment will be in hog heaven this weekend. The Dodge County Fairgrounds will be the site of this summer’s “Fifty Years of John Deere Hydro Power,” an anniversary celebration of all Horicon-built Deere equipment. The festivities will include a daily tractor parade and displays of unique John Deer memorabilia from collectors nationwide, including one-of-a-kind machinery and prototypes plus vintage snowmobiles. The family-friendly event will allow kids an opportunity to dig in the dirt, see the equipment up close and even learn from a working blacksmith. Factory tours will also be scheduled throughout the weekend with shuttles transporting attendees to and from the Horicon facilities. Collectors are encouraged to exhibit their own memorabilia. The “John Deere Fifty Years of Hydro Power” event at the Dodge County Fairgrounds begins tomorrow (July 27th) and runs through Sunday. Parking and admission are free.

To arrange memorabilia displays contact: Bill Hemling at 920-960-6350 or Mark Saelens at 309-781-4752.
