Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Alerting Citizens Of String Of Residential Burglaries

(Jefferson County) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is warning area residents of a string of residential burglaries. Sheriff Paul Milbrath says beginning in early April through last weekend, three homes were burglarized in the Towns of Jefferson, Concord, and Ixonia. He says each crime occurred when the residents were home and in each case, a lone male suspect approached the occupants and told them he was doing utility work near the residence. The suspect is said to be in his thirty’s, five-nine to six-feet tall, with dark hair and acne scars on his face, and may speak with a possible Hispanic accent. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a newer white colored Chevrolet pick-up truck. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Vaughn Johnson at 920-674-7310.
