Firefighters Battle Major Fire in Beaver Dam
1/4/15 – Firefighters have been on the scene of a commercial blaze in Beaver Dam for several hours. The call came in around 5pm Sunday to the 1300 block of North Spring Street, the former WMFB property and Green Giant offices. Beaver Dam received mutual assistance from a number of area departments and North Spring is closed in both directions as of 9pm and is expected to be well into the overnight hours. The building was being used for storage and that, combined with plummeting temperatures, hampered firefighting efforts.
