(BEAVER DAM) It’s opening day for the Dodge County Fair. The Badger State Tractor Pullers are slated for opening night tonight at 7pm.
Among the early morning activities, the Junior Fair Market Hog Show starts at 8am and various food and furnishing judging’s get underway at 9am.
Free family-friendly activities throughout the fairgrounds starting today will include pig, duck, and goat races; Nick’s Kids Show; and the educational Wild World of Animals Show.
Vice President of the Fair Association Dale Norenberg credits the volunteers for getting the five-day festival ready.
“Everybody is so busy…everyone knows what to do…it’s all the volunteers that makes this event possible,” says Norenberg. “Without them, it would never even happen.”
The 95.3 WBEV Morning Show is live at Radio Park today (Wednesday), tomorrow (Thursday), and Friday. Hometown Today and Community Comment will also be live at 9am and 10am.
