Iron Ridge Sirens Malfunction

(IRON RIDGE) A lot of people in Iron Ridge were alarmed Sunday morning by the village’s sirens going off. The Fire Department and First Responders say there was no emergency, and that the sirens were malfunctioning. The Department of Public Works disconnected the sirens so they could be fixed.

In the meantime, the village is encouraging people to sign up for the Dodge County RAVE system. It’s a free, local emergency notification system that sends critical alerts for missing persons, severe weather, and public safety issues by text, email, or phone calls. You can sign up to recieve RAVE notifications here.
