Iron Ridge Fire Department Picnic Kicks Off Today

(Iron Ridge) Residents are invited to attend the Iron Ridge Fire Department’s Picnic starting at 4:30pm this evening and running through Sunday, August 11th.

Live music, fireworks, a fish fry, tournaments, and a parade will fill the weekend at Fireman’s Park in Iron Ridge, including free bussing on Friday and Saturday nights.

Iron Ridge Assistant Fire Chief Mark Oman joined WBEV’s Hometown Today, encouraging residents to use the free bus service.

“We get a bus, and there’s a few different stops, I know one is in Theresa, one is in Hustisford I believe, some people take advantage of it, just a good thing for the public to get on the bus and drive home safely.”
