(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre is hosting the Fire and Ice Concert Series, presented by the Horicon Phoenix Program, this Saturday. Orlando Peña and The Midnight Purchase, along with special guest Whitney Rose, will be performing at the Kamps Auditorium.
Doors will open at 6pm, Rose will take the stage from 7pm to 8pm and Orlando Peña and the Midnight Purchase will headline the event from 8:30pm to 10pm. Liz Darner, the Executive Director of the Horicon Phoenix Program, said the Fire and Ice series all started when the Community Theatre reached out with a potential opportunity.
“The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre approached us because of our summer concert series we do in Horicon,” Darner said. “They enjoy what we do, our performers that we bring and decided that we should bring some music to the theatre.”
Darner also mentioned that this Saturday’s concert performances are mainly based around the America and soul folk genres. All reserved seating is set at $20. For those who cannot make this Saturday’s event, Darner said the Fire and Ice Concert Series will continue February 17th with another set of performances.
