(Kingston) Green Lake County authorities utilized a K-9 unit and drones to arrest a domestic disturbance suspect in Kingston Thursday. Sheriff’s deputies were called to a property on Vine Street around 12:30am.
Upon arrival, law enforcement attempted to locate Christopher Holcomb who had fled the scene on foot. While officers were at the victim’s residence, the 38-year-old reportedly approached the home and then fled again.
Deputies then requested assistance from the Drone Team and the K-9 Unit in an attempt to locate Holcomb. The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office says Holcomb eventually came out of a nearby marsh and surrendered to deputies at the scene. He was transported to the Green Lake County Correctional Facility.
Authorities say during the incident a “Code Red” message was sent to area residences. It is a service that is available by signing up at Community Notification Enrollment.
