(GREEN LAKE) Green and Gold, the film starring Craig T. Nelson who plays a Wisconsin farmer betting his farm’s future on how the Green Bay Packers do during a season in the 1990’s, will be coming to Green Lake.
It’s currently available on streaming services, but Evelyn Galster of Freeland Film Festival says they’ve cooked something special up for next month. There will be a screening of the film at the Thrasher Opera House on Friday, June 27th with a VIP happy hour where you can mingle with the filmmakers while enjoying delicious appetizers and a cash bar.
Galster says the Lindwall Brothers, who produced and made the film, are reaching out to actors from the cast to see if they can join the fun. Ticket details for the VIP Experience and screening are available at the Thrasher website.
