Governor Evers Seeking to Fill Washington County Judge Vacancy

(Washington County) Governor Tony Evers is seeking applications for judge in Washington County Circuit Court. The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by Judge James Pourosโ€™ resignation from Branch 1. The new judge will complete a term ending on July 31st. Those interested must email a completed application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov by 5pm on March 24th. Applicants who applied for the recent Branch 3 seat vacancy need not reapply. The governorโ€™s office says those applications will be considered alongside any additional ones that are received.
