(Washington County) Governor Tony Evers is seeking applications for judge in Washington County Circuit Court. The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by Judge James Pouros’ resignation from Branch 1. The new judge will complete a term ending on July 31st. Those interested must email a completed application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov by 5pm on March 24th. Applicants who applied for the recent Branch 3 seat vacancy need not reapply. The governor’s office says those applications will be considered alongside any additional ones that are received. Applications can be found at the “Apply to Serve” page on the governor’s website www.evers.wi.gov.
