The Beaver Dam High School softball team clinched a share of the Badger Large Conference championship with a 10-6 win at Oregon Thursday night. Freshman Kendall Fakes went 3×3 with a double and 4 RBI to pace the Golden Beaver offense. Gabby Fakes had another great day as well going 3×5 with a pair of doubles, while Emma Julka doubled and drove in a pair. Riley Czarnecki struck out seven in five innings of work to notch the win.
The Golden Beavers head to Watertown tonight. A win will secure an outright league title. You can hear the game on 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam. Coverage begins at 4:45pm with the first pitch at 5pm.
