GoFundMe Established For Family Who Lost Three Members In Watertown House Fire

(Watertown) A GoFundMe page has been setup to help the family impacted by a triple fatal fire in Watertown. The blaze was first reported just after 12:30am Friday in the 100 block of Western Avenue.

Firefighters attempted to save three residents still trapped inside but were driven back by the intense heat, smoke, and flames. The Watertown Police Department confirmed after the fire was extinguished that three people died.

Authorities did not identify the victims but it is now being reported that they were children. According to those who established the GoFundMe, the mother was at work while the fire started. They say she lost everything, her home and three of four kids.

The fundraising goal is $25-thousand-dollars with over $22-thousand raised so far. Flowers and handwritten tributes now surround the home. A candlelight vigil was held last night in memory of those who died.
