(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce and K&B Tree and Lawn Care dedicated a Ginkgo tree at Swan Park for Uncle Bill McCollum on Friday afternoon.
The Ginkgo tree was chosen for its broad and flat fan-shaped leaves in honor of Uncle Bill’s love for his loyal fans.
President of the Beaver Dam Chamber Board Melanie Budde led the dedication.
“As this tree takes root and grows, it will stand as a living memorial to Bill’s immense contributions, not only to broadcasting, but to the spirit of Beaver Dam itself.”
Uncle Bill’s Ginkgo tree can be found at the southwest corner of Swan Park in Beaver Dam.
