Friesland Man Gets Life In Prison For Murder Of Estranged Wife

(Friesland) In a Columbia County courtroom this week, a Friesland man was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering his estranged wife. Kevin Karl Krueger had previously pled no contest to felony charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide and Possession of a Firearm By a Convicted Felon and had two other felony charges dismissed: Possession of Narcotic Drugs and Stalking Resulting in Bodily Harm. Krueger claimed he does not remember shooting his wife to death at a hotel in February of 2016. The 55-year-old stole a shotgun from a friend and used it to kill 41-year-old Tracy Krueger at the Ridge Motor Inn in Portage.
