(Fox Lake) Mayor Tom Bednarek and City Administrator Kelly Crombie addressed a positively trending housing market among other factors in the Fox Lake area. A couple of key growth points in the community are the LeRoy Meats expansion project and an effort of adding 36 new apartment units.
The added units will be an extension of the Fox Crossing project on the south side of Fox Lake. Premiere Property Management is spearheading the effort, and Crombie gave a timeline on the construction.
“[Civil engineering plans] are under review by the city engineer right now,” Crombie said. “[The apartments] should be occupied by the end of 2025.”
The full Fox Crossing complex plan is set to include a second phase including the addition of 36 more units for a total of 72.
