(Fox Lake) The City of Fox Lake is encouraging residents to do their part in slowing the spread of COVID-19. In compliance with the governor’s “Safer at Home” order the public playgrounds of Fox Lake Parks are now closed. However, other portions of the parks will remain open for activities that are in line with social distancing requirements. Citizens looking to make a payment for utilities, a water bill or court citation are asked to use the city’s online program available on their website at www.cityoffoxlake.org (click online bill pay). If a person is unable to use their online system, they are asked to drop off any payments in the drop box located in the lobby of the municipal building which is available 24/7. Those interested in obtaining a dog license, they can utilize mail service or the drop box and items will be returned via mail. People are also asked to call city hall at 920-928-2280 for questions or general inquiries rather than visit in person. City officials say the patience and understanding of the community during this health emergency will be appreciated.
