(Beaver Dam) A four-year-old died after getting struck by a vehicle Wednesday in rural Beaver Dam. Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a private property just after 5pm.
An officer from the town of Beaver Dam Police Department and Beaver Dam Fire Department paramedics also responded to the scene.
The child was transported to an area hospital where Flight For Life was en route for possible transport. However, the child was pronounced dead at the hospital. The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office Crash Investigation Team.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office say they extend their sincerest condolences to the family of the child, and their support to their own employees and all first responders who aided in this tragic incident.
