(Waupun) A former Waupun school secretary will spend 45 days in jail for stealing money from school accounts. Kathleen Schwark was able to avoid a felony record after pleading no contest in October to reduced misdemeanor charges of Theft In A Business Setting. This week, Fond du Lac County Judge Dale English also ordered the 46-year-old Waupun woman to pay $3400 in restitution and write a letter of apology to students and staff for her actions. The thefts occurred in 2014 when Schwark used to work at the Meadowview Primary School.
