(Fond du Lac) The Fond du Lac Police Department recovered over 61 grams of illegal drugs following a foot chase. Officers pulled a vehicle over near South Main Street and Sheboygan Street around 1:35pm Friday.
During the stop, the 32-year-old driver from Oshkosh ran away from his vehicle. Police pursued the suspect on foot and observed the man reach into his waistband and toss several items to the ground. Authorities say he was arrested a short distance later and 61.8 grams of crack cocaine and marijuana were found at the scene of the crime.
They say the man is facing felony charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Resisting.
