(Fond du Lac) The Fond du Lac man suspected of intentionally killing a motorcyclist has pled not guilty during his arraignment hearing. Mark Snider is facing felony Second-Degree Reckless Homicide and First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety charges.
Elijah Sowin died of his injuries at a hospital after his motorcycle crashed into the driverโs side of Sniderโs vehicle on March 28th. The 68-year-old is accused of intentionally swerving his vehicle into Sowinโs path. Charges against Snider are based on evidence collected at the scene and witness statements.
Fond du Lac Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says this was not an accident, but a deliberate and dangerous act that led directly to the death of a young man.
A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 24th.
