(FOND DU LAC) Multiple arrests were made and a variety of drugs seized during a drug task force enforcement effort in Fond du Lac County on August 19th. According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office 74 traffic stops were made from 3 pm to midnight that day.
Seven arrests were made for drug trafficking, 11 for drug possession, six for felony bail jumping, and one for delivering illegal articles to an inmate. Twenty-four arrests were made for misdemeanor offenses including drug possession and obstructing an officer.
Total drugs seized included 59 grams of methamphetamine, 80 grams of cocaine, 176 grams of THC, 84 grams of ecstasy, and 16 grams of fentanyl.
Suspects arrested were from Fond du Lac, Menasha, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Rapids, Kimberly, Waupun, Juneau, Two Rivers, Winneconne, and Oshkosh.
Many of the suspects were already out on bail and several were on active probation. Agencies participating in the drug task force included the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, police departments from Fond du Lac and Waupun, the State Patrol and the Lake Winnebago Area MEG Unit.
