(Taycheedah) Fond du Lac authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at Taycheedah Correctional Institution. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections confirmed the death Thursday of a person in their care at the facility.
On Wednesday, correctional officers found Cindy Chulz-Juedes unresponsive in her cell. The Fond du Lac Police Department and Fire and Rescue were called to the scene. but efforts to revive the 68-year-old were unsuccessful.
Police say they continue to investigate the circumstances of the death and that they are in the preliminary stages. They add that no additional details will be released at this time.
