(Mayville) A West Bend man accused of using a computer to meet up with a minor for illicit means was arraigned this week.
Scott Fleischhacker entered a not guilty plea to a felony count of Use a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime. A Mayville police officer responded to a post on Doublelist.com with the persona of a 13-year-old girl.
According to the complaint, the officer engaged in online conservation with Fleishhacker who asked (quote) “what kind of things do you have experience with” and “[anything] you wanted to try?”
They reportedly agreed to meet at May Park in October. Multiple times throughout the day, Fleischhacker allegedly asked if the girl was real and if she was a set up.
The complaint states that the 49-year-old was taken into custody shortly after arriving at the park.
When questioned, Fleischhacker denied talking with a 13-year-old girl and reportedly said he was on his way to Stevens Point. If convicted, Fleischhaker faces up to 40 years in prison.
