MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) — Wisconsin Lutheran College senior Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4, 2024, as selected by the league’s athletics communications professionals.

Leisemann, a senior forward, averaged 18.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game last week for the Warriors, who extended their winning streak to 11 games with NACC home wins over Dominican (79-26) and Concordia Wisconsin (58-50). She scored 11 points and had eight rebounds in just over 15 minutes on Jan. 31 versus the Stars. She posted her 10th double-double of the season on Feb. 3 versus the Falcons with a career-high 26 points and a season-high 15 rebounds. Leisemann, who ranks second in NCAA Division III field goal percentage, shot 76.2 percent (16-for-21) from the floor on the week.
