(FALL RIVER) A Columbia County manufacturer is getting statewide recognition for its work behind the scenes of critical power systems.
EK, based in Fall River, has been named the 37th Annual Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year. The award recognizes companies for strong performance, quality, and leadership in the state’s manufacturing industry.
Company leaders say the honor reflects the dedication and hard work of their team, along with support from customers and the local community.
EK designs and assembles backup power generator enclosures and also provides fabrication, welding, painting and machine shop services. The company operates three locations in Fall River.
The Manufacturer of the Year program highlights businesses that help drive Wisconsin’s economy and showcase the state’s long-standing manufacturing tradition.
