(Ashippun) The 15th annual Harnischfeger Park Fall Fest is being held Saturday near Ashippun. Events include: outdoor musical entertainment, tractor pulled wagon rides, a pancake breakfast, chain saw art demonstrations and the Alaskan Malamute weight pull competitions. There will also be bucket raffle drawings and silent auctions. Due to COVID, some events have been canceled. A list of events can be found at www.dodgeparks.com. Friends of the Dodge County Parks’ President Glenn Daily told WBEV’s Community comment that there is even more to do at Harnischfeger Park adding that there will be a treasure hunt, a geo cache, 4 different loops of hiking trails, and age appropriate playground equipment, meaning there will be something for everyone.
Admission is free but certain events cost money. All proceeds are used to fund park projects. Fall Fest runs from 8am to 4pm Saturday at Harnischfeger Park located west of Ashippun in the Town of Lebanon on Crawfish Road.
