Join us as we celebrate three generations of creativity within one remarkable family. Millie Garside, daughter Tina Kasper, and granddaughter Emily Kasper carry forward a vibrant tradition of creating and teaching art. This special exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the artistic vision of three generations—each with their own unique perspective.

This innovative show runs January 14th through March 14th.

Artists Bios
Millie Garside
Millie was born at home on a farm near Alexandria, Minnesota. After high school graduation, she went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Comprehensive Arts at the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud. Later she received her Master’s Degree in Adaptive Arts from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse, St. Norbert’s College in DePere, Wisconsin, and the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. Millie taught for 30 years in three different districts in Southwest, Wisconsin, the last being in Prairie du Chien. Millie now lives in Beaver Dam where she enjoys walking, painting and basket weaving.

Tina Kasper
Tina lives near Lowell, Wisconsin with her husband, Pete, and two children, Evan and Emily. She received her Comprehensive Art Education degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and her Master’s in Art Therapy from Mount Mary University. She is currently teaching art for 4K through 5th graders, and guidance class at Horicon Elementary. This is her 30th year teaching. Tina enjoys being in Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre productions, her favorite role so far being a tourist in Escape to Margaritaville. She assists with the Horicon Elementary Musicals by creating and teaching students how to paint the sets. She likes to work in various media, and enjoys challenging herself to try different modes of working in the visual arts.

Emily Kasper
Emily Kasper. Emily is sixteen and will be a junior at Horicon High School. Her favorite media would be watercolor painting. Currently, she is taking Drawing and Painting class in high school. She is an avid reader and likes to take road trips around Wisconsin.

Now extended hours through February from 11 am to 5 pm every day.
