(Beaver Dam) Water repair work along a Beaver Dam Street will impact several area businesses. The city’s Department of Public Works says the south side of the 800 block of Park Avenue will be without water for an emergency leak repair project.
Work is scheduled to start at 8am Tuesday and crews hope to leave the water on until 10am to accommodate morning business activities in the area.
The Park Avenue approach between Walkers and the gas station will be completely closed off during the repair and the surface restoration to follow. DPW officials say access can be made from the frontage road to the east for both businesses.
Water can be expected to be off for four to six hours. Other affected businesses include BP, Shell, Sunview, Benvenutos, JB Mechanical, Tax Place, Hearing Care, and Quality Inn.
