Elite Dance Centre Wins Multiple National Titles

Elite Dance Center dance team, based out of Beaver Dam, came home with multiple national titles last week at the Fly National Dance Competition in Ocean City/Salisbury, Maryland.

The team’s all-jazz routine “Workout” capped the event by winning the final show-down and was awarded a four-foot tall national champion trophy.

Individually, Addie Ackley, Novily Anfinson and Manny Wilke all walked away with National Titles, topping dancers from all across the nation in their respective categories.  Addie Ackley placed 1st in her Advanced Junior Category with her jazz routine, “Queen”.   Novily Anfinson placed 1st in the Intermediate Junior Category with her musical theatre routine, “I’m The Greatest Star.”  Manny Wilke won the title “Mr. Fly”, the Improv competition, and was also 2nd in Advanced Senior Soloist for his “Funky Music” tap routine.

The teen and senior lyrical routine, “Forgive Myself” placed first overall in the Advanced Large Group category.  The senior hip hop routine, “Let’s Go” placed first overall in the Advanced Small Group category.  The studio was also recognized for producing the “Most Entertaining” routines in the competition.
