EAA Airventure Highlights Top Gun

(Oshkosh) The popularity of the two Top Gun films hasn’t been lost on the organizers of EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh. Dick Knapinski of EAA says this Saturday early campers for EAA will get to see the original Top Gun film on a 5-story high movie screen. Then on Friday, July 29th anyone with a ticket to get into the EAA grounds can see the sequel Top Gun: Maverick for free. He says jets similar to those flown in the movie will be at EAA. Knapinski says in addition at the Theater in the Woods they will have some of the pilots who graduated from the Top Gun flight school, technical people from the movies, and you never know who else might show up at AirVenture. EAA AirVenture begins tomorrow (July 25th) and runs through July 31st at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.
