(Columbia County) The state of Wisconsin has revoked the dealer license for two Columbia County wholesalers for failing to follow administrative requirements. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles issued the order against D and D Auto Group and Ecol Auto Sales, both listed at 101 Skyline Drive in Arlington.
D and D Auto Group sold motor vehicles directly to consumers, rolled back odometers, and falsified title documents. Ecol Auto Sales also sold vehicles directly to consumers, which they cannot do.
Due to the nature of the violations, the department took immediate action revoking each license on May 22. The decision to revoke was upheld during a DOT hearing on June 27.
Dealers are given 30 days to appeal a revocation. Neither wholesale dealer sought an appeal, and the decisions are final.
