Donation Helps Bring 9/11 Exhibit To Waupun

(Waupun) The effort to bring the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to the city of Waupun this summer recently received a boost from a local business. Fox Computer and Networking of Waupun has donated $5000 for the event. The traveling exhibit allows the public to hear firsthand from New York firefighters about how events unfolded that fateful day in 2001 when thousands perished in the collapse of the twin towers. In total, 343 firefighters and 60 police officers lost their lives during the initial response.  The high-tech, 53-foot trailer transforms into an 1,100 square foot exhibit, providing an opportunity to explore artifacts from the towers and listen to documentary videos and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. The exhibit will be open noon until 8pm on June 29 and June 30. It is only the second visit to Wisconsin since it was created in 2013. Admission is free. For more information, or to donate to help offset the cost of bringing the exhibit to Celebrate Waupun, visit waupunfestivals.com.
