DOMASK & NELSON NAMED ALL-WIAC IN BASKETBALL

A pair of area student athletes have been named to the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athlete Conference men’s and women’s basketball team.

Waupun native Maiah Domask has been named First Team All-WIAC in women’s basketball after a senior season a UW-Platteville that saw her average 16.8 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.   It was her fourth 1st Team All-WIAC Honor and she is the 2nd Pioneer in program history to finish with over 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

Beaver Dam alum Garrett Nelson was recently named Honorable Mention All-WIAC in men’s basketball for the 2nd time at UW-Stevens Point.  Nelson averaged a team leading 14.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game during the 2021-22 season for the Pointers.
