(WAUPUN) The Dollar General Market announced yesterday (Monday) its relocated store in Waupun is now open. Vice President of Real Estate and Store Development Matthew Simonsen says they are excited to open their relocated store and celebrate with the community.
A grand opening event is scheduled for Saturday at 8am. The store is located at 926 West Main Street.
The addition of the Waupun store opens the opportunity for schools, nonprofits, and libraries within a 15-mile radius to apply for Dollar General Literacy Foundation Grants. Since its inception in 1993, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation has awarded more than $275 million in grants to nonprofit organizations, helping more than 23.8 million individuals take their first steps toward literacy or continued education.
