(JUNEAU) Dodgeland School District residents will soon have their say on public education matters. The district will send out a survey in about a month, asking about support on a wide range of topics.
โJust to try to gauge a level of where our communityโs sense is and where theyโd like us to go,โ said Superintendent Todd Greco. โAnd thatโs the direction we want to go; that weโre aligned with community values.โ
Greco says the district is facing a $700,000 budget deficit. Voters rejected the districtโs request to exceed its revenue limit by $1.4 million annually for five years in a referendum in April.
The survey will be mailed to district residents, or they can fill it out online through the school district website.
