(Dodge County) There were 32 new COVID cases recorded by Dodge County health officials Tuesday. Active community cases stand 697, a decrease of 53 since Monday. Six more hospitalizations were reported yesterday, bringing the total number since the pandemic began to 983. The seven-day daily average of new COVID cases per 100-thousand people is 40.9, 15 cases above what health officials classify as the โtipping point.โ There have been 46.9-percent of citizens in the county who have received at least one dose of the vaccine while 44.6-percent have completed the vaccination series. Dodge County remains in the โvery highโ activity level for COVID transmission along with Fond du Lac, Washington, Jefferson, and Columbia Counties. Green Lake County is in the โcritically highโ level.
