(Juneau) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office recently received a new machine called an EZ Tab from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. It is a self-service license plate renewal device.
“So, if you need that, come on down to the sheriff’s office, go to the upstairs level,” says Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt. “You can’t miss it, it’s a big blue machine. It says ‘EZ Tab’ on it and put in your information, and that’ll take payment there for it, and they’ll give you a sticker and your registration right there in our lobby.”
The sheriff says the installation of the machine was recommended by one of the support staff who thought it would be easier for the citizens of the county to come to the sheriff’s office to renew their vehicle instead of the DMV.
