(Juneau) The biggest countywide race on local primary ballots will be for Dodge County sheriff. Barring a write-in campaign, Tuesday’s election will decide if incumbent Sheriff Dale Schmidt will stay in office or if challenger Mark Colker will unseat him.
When voters arrive at the polls, Schmidt asks them to remember his dedication and passion to serving the citizens of the county. He says if you vote for him, you will get the highest level and best possible service.
Colker says the decision on who to elect comes down to the individual best served to lead the sheriff’s office. He says he promises to change the leadership style and foster a welcoming environment.
