Dodge County Records Twenty Third COVID-19 Death

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 4,205 positive coronavirus cases in Wednesday’s daily update. There are 38,485 active cases in the state, an increase of 1,127 from Tuesday. Active cases make up 21.1-percent of the 182-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 142-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 48 deaths, bringing that total of 1,681. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.3-percent of all cases in Wisconsin needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 220-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County has now recorded 23 deaths and 3,280 cases, an increase of 130 from Tuesday. The county had 150 negative tests returned for a running total of 27,271. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 929 people while 1,819 have recovered.

Washington County has now experienced 41 deaths and 4,028 cases, there are currently 803 active cases.

Fond du Lac County has 3,741 positive tests on record, with 1,222 being active cases, and now 19 deaths.

Jefferson County has now reported 10 deaths and 2,356 cases to date, 484 are active cases.

There have been four deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,534 total cases, currently the county has 520 active cases.

Green Lake County has two deaths and has 632 cases on record, 243 were reported in the last two weeks.
