Dodge County Records 28th COVID-19 Death

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 5,096 positive coronavirus cases in Friday’s daily update. There are 46,833 active cases in the state, an increase of 1,937 from Thursday. Active cases make up 21.3-percent of the 220-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 171-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 24 deaths, bringing that total to 1,972. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.1-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 229-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County now has 28 deaths on record and 4,453 cases, an increase of 110 from Thursday. The county had 162 negative tests returned for a running total of 28,635. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 1,204 people while 2,372 have recovered.

Washington County has experienced 43 deaths and 4,583 cases, there are currently 1,300 active cases.

Fond du Lac County has 4,817 positive tests on record, with 1,331 being active cases, and 20 deaths.

Jefferson County has now reported 15 deaths and 2,880 cases to date, 610 are active cases.

There have now been seven deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,863 total cases, currently the county has 596 active cases.

Green Lake County now has four deaths and has 785 cases on record, 249 were reported in the last two weeks.
