Dodge County Program Aims to Meet Housing Need

(BEAVER DAM) 174 new homes will go up around Dodge County in the next two years, thanks to the county’s Community Development Grant Program. That’s according to County Administrator Cameron Clapper. He told Daily Dodge that housing is key to efforts to get more people to live and work here.

“Being able to have a house for these residents that we need to attract is probably the first and foremost concern. The next is the quality of living for people who are coming to this space,” said Clapper.

The Community Development Grant Program spends Dodge County sales tax revenue on infrastructure, economic growth, and parks and housing.
