Dodge County Politicians Recognize Wisconsin Electrical Apprentice Going To National Competition

(Dodge County) Two politicians from Dodge County recently honored a Wisconsin electrical apprentice who will be attending a national competition. Congressman Scott Fitzgerald of Juneau and Representative Will Penterman of Columbus presented Hayden Oestreich with a flag flown over the US Capital and a proclamation from the state.

Oestreich, an electrical apprentice of Lyons Electric in Delafield, won the state Skills Competition in the electrical category for the right to represent Wisconsin at the National Craft Championship competition. Established in 1987, the National Craft Championship is made up of an online exam and a six-hour skills competition simulated to be a construction project.
