Dodge County Municipalities Receive State Transportation Aid

(Dodge County) A number of cities in Dodge County received transportation aid from the state. The governor and the department of transportation recently announced that municipalities across Wisconsin will be sharing more than $108-million-dollars.  

Beaver Dam is in line for $313-thousand-dollars in general transportation aid. The city is also receiving over $16-thousand in Connecting Highway Aid, which assists communities with costs associated with increased traffic.  

The city of Fox Lake is receiving $52-thousand-dollars; Horicon is getting $90-thousand-dollars; Juneau is in line for $57-thousand; the state is giving Mayville $79-thousand-dollars; and Waupun is receiving $135-thousand.  

Over the course of 2025, local governments will receive more than $540-million in General Transportation Aids for financial assistance to support transportation-related projects.
