(Dodge County) Dodge County vehicle sales saw a slight uptick when compared to last year’s numbers through the fifth month of 2024. According to the Waterloo-based industry tracking firm Reg-Trak, Dodge County saw 1,189 vehicles sold through last month, 28 more than by this time last year, an increase of 2.4-percent.
Car sales in Dodge County dropped by 1.7-percent while truck sales increased by nearly three-percent. Columbia County sales were up just over four-percent this year with 1,047, 41 more than when compared to 2023.
Car sales increased by 5.3-percent while truck sales rose by 3.9-percent. Jefferson County had 1,068 vehicles roll off dealer lots through May of this year, a jump of seven-percent from a year ago. Car sales increased by 2.6-percent while truck sales saw a 7.6-percent rise in sales. For the nine-county-south-central Wisconsin region as a whole, vehicle sales were up 6.1-percent with 17,564 sold.
Car sales topped 22-hundred, a drop of three-percent over 2023, while truck sales were up nearly eight-percent with over 15-thousand purchased.
